VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a set of 17 characters that identifies a specific vehicle. It is installed by the car manufacturer. Knowing the VIN can help you find detailed vehicle information and ownership history, odometer records, insurance claims, and more. Enter your VIN now and get information about possible odometer readings, collisions and accidents, and other vehicle problems that the seller may be hiding.

The VIN may be physically located in several places on your vehicle. It can be found in the lower left corner of the dashboard, in front of the steering wheel. You can read the number by looking through the windshield on the driver's side of the car. The VIN can also be seen in other places: on the driver's door or on the front of the engine block. The VIN can also be found on your vehicle's insurance card or vehicle title (DMV) records. If you are having trouble finding your VIN number, you can also contact your car dealer or your vehicle's manufacturer.
